The format

Country vs country.

Every country with at least 500 active GFN walkers fields a team. Each team's score is the average ADS of its members over the season window. The country at the top of the table lifts the trophy. The country at the bottom drops a tier.

Your steps stack.

Your daily walk no longer just moves you up the friends board or your city — it raises your country's national average. Every walker is a contributor. Casual hikers and ultra-runners pull on the same rope.

Tier A

Top 16 by previous-season finish. Closing the season at the bottom = relegation to Tier B.

The contenders

Tier B

Mid-table countries fighting to climb. Top 4 promote to Tier A, bottom 4 drop to Tier C.

The risers

Tier C

New entrants and former Tier B sides. Promotion is the only direction. No relegation floor — keep walking.
